استاد سمیعی از استوانه های زبان و ادب فارسی بود

مراسم تشییع و وداع با پیکر احمد سمیعی گیلانی، مترجم، ویراستار و مدیر گروه ادبیات معاصر فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی، شنبه، پنجم فروردین‌ماه در محل فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی برگزار شد.

غلامعلی حدادعادل رئیس فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی گفت: امروز برای فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی روزی سخت و تلخ است چرا که استاد سمیعی از استوانه های زبان و ادب فارسی در دوران معاصر و از استادان بنام فرهنگستان زبان فارسی از میان ما رفتند.

او با اشاره به آشنایی پنجاه و دو ساله خود با استاد سمیعی گفت: احاطه همزمان ایشان بر ادبیات فارسی و ادبیات فرانسه در کنار تسلط بر ادبیات کهن و معاصر فارسی به آن استاد فقید جامعیت و اعتدالی بخشیده بود که ثمره آن پیوند سنت با نوآوری در زبان فارسی بود.

رئیس فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی تأکید کرد: استاد سمیعی گیلانی برای همه ما الگوی پرکاری و وظیفه شناسی بودند. از ایشان در فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی و در البته در کل کشور یادگارهای فراوانی به جا مانده است. اگر تن و پیکر ایشان دیگر با ما نیست، اما روح، اندیشه، فرهنگ، ایران دوستی و شخصیت ممتاز اخلاقی آن مرحوم همواره با ماست و بقای این استادِ فقید به بقای این اندیشه و فرهنگ است.

محمدمهدی اسماعیلی وزیر فرهنگ و ارشاد اسلامی، غلامعلی حداد عادل رییس فرهنگستان زبان و ادب فارسی، محمدعلی موحد، محمدرضا شفیعی کدکنی، سیدعلی آل داوود، موسی اسوار، محمود عابدی، حسین معصومی همدانی، محمدرضا نصیری، سیروس علی‌نژاد، کامیار عابدی، فرهاد طاهری، سعید رفیعی، امید طبیب‌زاده، جعفر شجاع کیهانی، اکبر ایرانی، مهشید نونهالی، آبتین گلکار، مهدی فیروزان، علی‌اصغر محمدخانی، مسعود جعفری جزی، الوند بهاری، مجتبی حسینی، غلامرضا امیرخانی و علی‌اکبر میرجعفری از حاضران در این مراسم بودند.

پیکر استاد سمیعی گیلانی در زادگاه ایشان، رشت به خاک سپرده خواهد شد.

The funeral ceremony for Ahmed Samiei Gilani, the late veteran Iranian translator, editor and director of the contemporary literature department of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, was held on Saturday March 25, 2023 at the Academy of Persian Language and Literature.
In the ceremony, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, Head of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, said: “Today is a hard and bitter day for the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, because Professor Samiei, one of the pillars of Persian language and literature in the modern era, and one of the renowned masters of the Academy of Persian Language passed away.
He alluded to his fifty-two years of acquaintance with Professor Samiei, and continued: “His excellent command of both Persian and French literature, along with his mastery over ancient and contemporary Persian literature, had given him such comprehensive capability, the result of which was the combination of tradition and innovation in Persian language.”
Head of Academy of Persian Language and Literature emphasized: “Professor Samiei Gilani was a role model of punctuality and hard-working for all of us. There are many works left from him in the Academy of Persian Language and Literature and in the whole country. Although his body is no longer with us, his soul, thought, culture, love for Iran, and his distinguished moral character are always with us, and he survives as long as such notion survives.”
Present in the ceremony were Mohammad Mehdi Esmaili, Iran`s Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Gholam Ali Haddad Adel, Head of the Academy of Persian Language and Literature, Mohammad Ali Movahed, Mohammad Reza Shafiei Kadkani, Seyed Ali Ale Dawood, Musa Asvar, Mahmood Abedi, Hossein Masoumi Hamedani, Mohammad Reza Nasiri, Sirous Alinejad, Kamyar Abedi, Farhad Taheri. , Saeed Rafiei, Omid Tabibzadeh, Jafar Shoja Keyhani, Akbar Irani, Mahshid Nonahali, Abtin Golkar, Mehdi Firouzan, Ali Asghar Mohammad Khani, Masoud Jafari Jazi, Alvand Bahari, Mojtaba Hosseini, Gholamreza Amirkhani and Ali Akbar Mirjafari.
Professor Samiei Gilani will be buried in his hometown, Rasht.
