The importance of introducing luminaries to young generation through the language of art

The meeting of the principals of governmental leading high schools in the first secondary schools on the commemoration of Hakim Nizami, was held on Sunday, March 12, 2023, with the presence of a group of teachers, provincial administrators and officials of the Ministry of Education’s central headquarters in Shahid Bahonar camp in Tehran.

In his opening remarks at the event, Mahmood Shalooei Head of the Society for the Appreciation of Cultural Works and Dignitaries (SACWD) said: “We are grateful to the Ministry of Education for significant cooperation with the SACWD Headquarters during Hakim Nizami commemoration week across the country as well as steps taken towards better introducing Hakim Nizami and other Iranian dignitaries using the capacity of boarding schools with 140,000 students.”
He emphasized: “Today, in order for our young generation to communicate with the thought and teachings of Iranian cultural luminaries, it is necessary to convey the ideas of great scholars like Hakim Nizami to this generation through the eloquent and influential language of art.”
Mohammad Mahdi Kazemi, Deputy of Secondary Education of Iran`s the Ministry of Education, also said: “Strengthening Iranian-Islamic identity of students is a priority which is attained through the medium of literature and honoring the country’s luminaries. Paying more attention to Persian literature and introducing Iranian customs and traditions can guarantee maintaining the Iranian-Islamic identity of children.”
At the end of the program, Narges Razani, in charge of boarding schools and governmental leading high schools in the first secondary school, appreciated the assistance and cooperation of the managers of the governmental leading schools in the first secondary school throughout the country in organizing commemorating conference on Hakim Nizami and student campaigns in schools and the Shad system.
In this event, the portrait of Hakim Nizami, created by one of the boarding students, was also unveiled.
